SARA BITTLE
Owner, Ballet and Preschool Dance Instructor
Sara Pinkerton Bittle has had extensive ballet training. She has been dancing since an early age at local studios, where she had the opportunity to perform at Disney World's Magic Music Days and on Royal Caribbean's Stars at Sea. Sara's intensive ballet training began at Mid-Atlantic Ballet, in Newark, DE, under the direction of Sara Taylor. At MAB, Sara was a member of the pre-professional performing Company where she danced the roles of Cossack Doll and Puppeteer in the ballet, "The Fantastic Toyshop." Sara also performed in the Delaware Dance Festival. Sara continued her dance training at Old Dominion University as a Dance Education major, taking classes in Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Anatomy & Kinesiology for Dancers, and Improvisation. Sara finished her degree at Rowan University, with classes in Ballet, Creative Dance for Children, and World Dance Forms. The summer of 2005, Sara studied at the Boston Conservatory, where she trained with Denise Pons, former Boston Ballet dancer, and Seán Curran, Artistic Director of the Seán Curran Company. Sara has also attended the Dance Teacher's Workshop in New York City with renowned master ballet teachers, Finis Jhung, Judy Rice, and Mignon Furman. In 2008, Sara was certified as a Pilates Mat instructor at Pilates Core Center in Marlton, NJ. Sara has been teaching ballet for the past 20 years and continues her education at various conventions and classes throughout the year.

COURTNEY COLÓN
Ballet, Pointe, Contemporary, Jazz Instructor
Ms. Courtney is an artist actively working as a creator, educator, mover, and writer. She holds an MFA in Dance from Hollins University, where she studied in Virginia, New York, and Germany. Ms. Colón completed her BFA in Dance from Stockton University, graduating with distinction in her program. Courtney’s senior work, “I Am My Own,” was selected to represent Stockton at the American College Dance Festival in 2015. Ms. Courtney has taught and performed extensively throughout the United States and Europe. Her choreography and lectures have been presented in numerous locations, including NY, NJ, PA, DE, NC, MN, VA, and abroad. In 2010, Ms. Colón founded pillardance company, a dance collective based in Philadelphia. Courtney is currently a working professional dancer, writer, and educator. Her lectures, dance classes, choreography, writings and performances have been presented across America and Europe. Courtney loves to teach and watch her students grow while cheering them on!

TAYLOR MARTIN
Competition Team Director, Jazz, Contemporary, Conditioning & Stretch Instructor
Taylor’s dance training began at the age of three years old and has become a lifelong pursuit. She has trained extensively in multiple genres including ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip-hop, tap, etc. Throughout her years she has trained with teachers from all over the world including Peter Stark (Boston Ballet), Christopher Fleming, Natasha Zeiger (The Rock School), Tracy Alvey and Roger Van Fleteran (Alabama Ballet), Phillis Papa (Atlantic City Ballet), Christopher Bruce and Simon Ball (Houston Ballet) and Darla Hoover (Balanchine Trust). Mastering a variety of dance forms has served her well earning her numerous national dance competition and college dance team top awards, as well as, several college and summer intensive scholarships. After graduating from The Rock School for Dance Education she went on to have professional career with the Alabama Ballet and Atlantic City Ballet. In addition to her passion for performing, she also has a passion for choreographing. Her choreography has been featured in new ballet repertoire, over-all national winning solo/group competitions and in guest works all over the country.
Taylor now uses all her training to teach the next generation of dancers. You can find her dancers in professional careers in a variety of genres. Along with regular classes, she has also had the opportunity to teach in dance outreach programs and use dance as a vehicle for ‘Stop the Violence’ campaign and child mentor rallies. Taylor believes in the joy of movement, in the discipline that dance affords and in promoting being a positive force both on and off the stage.

MATTHEW GRASSA
Hip-Hop Instructor
Matt Grassa is local to Delaware County, PA and began his dance education at the early age of three. He trained in all styles of dance at a competitive level for ten consecutive years and continues to hone his craft and style. Matt specializes in Hip-Hop, but also loves and is skilled in Tap, Contemporary, Musical Theater, Ballet, Lyrical, Modern and more. During his many years of competing and performing in every genre, he developed a true passion for being on stage. This love for the stage evolved beyond dance and eventually included singing, acting and live theater. Post-graduation Matt began his professional career debuting as the lead dancer (The Pumpkin King) in The Hallo-Fun Fright Show at Knoebels Amusement Park. Additionally, he was a Guest Artist in Chester Valley Dance Academy’s rendition of The Nutcracker. Most recently he performed alongside 80’s Pop-Icon Taylor Dayne in New York as a backup dancer. Matt can also be seen all over the Tri-State Area performing in Flash Mobs and other Special Events for multiple entertainment companies. He has versatile choreography skills and credits, notably Beat Addikts United, The Padua Dance Team, and The Garnet Valley Performing Arts Association in a multitude of shows. He is currently employed as the primary Hip-Hop Instructor and Comp Team Choreographer at Dance Delaware Studios in Wilmington, DE as well as a Hip Hop Instructor at Dance Artistry Center in Swedesboro, NJ. When he is not performing, teaching or choreographing, Matt is pursuing a Bachelor's Degree, outside of the dance realm, at Wilmington University in Cybersecurity.

ALEXIS BARBER
Hip-Hop, Jazz, & Contemporary Instructor, Competition Team Choreographer
Alexis is a Dance Artistry Center Alumni! She was a DAC Company Dancer and a member of the Competition Team. Some of Alexis's performance roles include The Nutcracker, Coffee, Snowflake, Tea, Hot Chocolate, and Flower. She was a Junior Soulmate and on the RCGC dance team. She has attended the Dance Life Teacher Training Conference and many Dance Conventions. Alexis is a graduate of Rowan University and loves working with all our DAC dancers!

CHLOE WEBER
Contemporary , Jazz & Hip-Hop Instructor, Performance Team & Competition Team Choreographer
Chloe Weber was born and raised in South Jersey where she began dancing at the age of 3. She trained in various styles of dance for 16 years. Chloe attended Arthur P. Schalick High School where she was a part of the Dance Academy. She had the opportunity to choreograph for the Dance Academy throughout high school and even as an alumni. She was on the competition team at her studio where she performed at competitions, conventions, annual recitals, and The Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade. Chloe is now attending Rowan University, majoring in Elementary Education with a concentration in Mental Health. She is currently a proud member of the nationally ranked Rowan University Dance Team. Her commitment and talent is admired as she competed in the Universal Dance Association (UDA) Nationals in 2024 and 2025. Competing on a national stage offered her distinctive insight into the discipline needed to thrive, enhanced her choreographic skills, and deepened her understanding of team dynamics. Chloe is known for her engaging teaching style, infectious enthusiasm, and unwavering commitment to nurturing her students' growth. Chloe’s path from learning to performing and teaching reflects her strong passion for dance and her devotion to guiding and empowering young dancers. As a seasoned instructor now entering her 3rd year with DAC, Chloe is committed to fostering a positive and inspiring environment where dancers of all ages can flourish and achieve their fullest potential!

WANDA HOAGLAND
Acro, Ballet & Pointe Instructor
Wanda is a dedicated and inspiring instructor with a varied and extensive background as a professional dancer and gymnast. A talented and gifted choreographer, she has choreographed the Mrs. New Jersey America Pageant and is frequently asked to judge other pageants and competitions. Immersing herself in the disciplines of dance and gymnastics since childhood, she proceeded to win numerous scholarships and awards recognizing her accomplishments. Honors from Dance Masters of America and Dance Olympics included.

KIERSTEN POWELL
Tap, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Contemporary & Ballet Instructor
Kiersten Powell is a dancer, choreographer, and educator based in New Jersey who has trained in various genres of dance including ballet, jazz, modern, contemporary, hiphop and tap. Powell practices extensively in her tap training while exploring her artistry through a variety of workshops in the Tri-State area. In high school, she attended Gloucester County Institute of Technology where she deepened her understanding of ballet, modern, and choreographic techniques. She recently graduated from Stockton University where she had the opportunity to perform works with renowned choreographers— including Limon Dance, choreograph adjudicated work on peers and obtained a BFA in Dance with a concentration in studio operation. Post graduation, Powell had the opportunity to attend the Barcelona Summer Course in Barcelona, Spain through former professors Albert Quesada and Katie Vickers where she studied Flamenco, Afro Fusion and Improvisational Techniques. She also performed an adaptation of Flamingos, choreographed by Albert Quesada, in the Grec Festival. Powell aspires to be a positive influence on each group of students and share her love for dance with the next generation.

YOSBEL DELGADO
Ballet & Pointe Instructor
A native of Pinar del Rio, Cuba, Yosbel began his training at age 9 at the E.V.A. (vocational school of arts). His first professional ballet position was at the Camaguey Ballet in Cuba where he remained for two years performing their repertoire including several works by Osvaldo Rivero. In 1998 he was hired by the Ballet Nacional de Cuba under direction of Alicia Alonso where he performed featured roles including Von Rothbart and pas de six in Swan Lake, Don Quixote, toreros and sword dance in Don Quixote. In 2003, he joined the Pennsylvania Ballet and has performed numerous featured roles including the jester in Cinderella, chocolate and sugarplum cavalier in George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker, Spanish dance and other roles in Swan Lake, as well as featured roles in Taming of the Shrew, Dracula, Firebird, Giselle, Sleeping Beauty, The Concert, Kazimir’s Colours, Carmina Burana, Five Tangos, Nine Sinatra Songs, Western Symphony, Messiah, Fearful Symmetries, The Four Temperaments, Romeo and Juliet, Midsummer Night’s Dream and Carnival of the Animals.

ERIN MAHONEY
Erin was born and raised in Boston and moved to South Jersey after finishing college at Franklin Pierce University in 2012 with a BA in Theatre with a concentration in dance. She has been dancing since age three and is trained in a variety of dance styles, including ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, modern, hip hop, and acro. During her time at Franklin Pierce she was on the Raven Thunder Dance Team as a dancer and choreographer. She has performed with KN Dance & Entertainment for multiple events over the past decade. Included in these events is the annual CHOP Halloween Party hosted by the Philadelphia Phillies. Over the past few years she has organized multiple charitable dance fundraisers for Suicide Prevention featuring professional dancer and choreographer Matt Lopez, from New York City. Erin continues to actively learn through a variety of classes in NYC and the surrounding NJ area. In addition to her dance career, Erin is also an accomplished writer and has published five novels
